Assay Information
Protein quantitation was carried out by two independent methods. 1. UV spectroscopy at 280 nm using the absorbency value of 0.72 as the extinction coefficient for a 0.1% (1mg/ml) solution. 2. Analysis by RP-HPLC, using a calibrated solution of GH as a Reference Standard.

The glands that secrete Luteinizing hormones LHRG and LH, FSH comprise the endocrine signaling system. The term growth hormone releasing hormone GHRH is sometimes extended to include chemicals produced by cells that affect the same cell (autocrine or intracrine signaling) or nearby cells (paracrine signaling).
